"Hey Y/N, guess what?" Harry said, removing his hand from yours and stopping in the middle of the hotel hallway.
"What?" You wondered, stopping too.
Harry stood there for a few prolonged seconds, staring deep into your eyes with a serious expression, taking all of you in.
"What?" You asked again, a small smile forming upon your own lips.
"…I love you." He grinned widely.
"How much?" You asked quizzically, raising your chin up for a response from him.
Harry stepped out, reaching his arms in either direction as far as they would go, cutely scrunching his face up in the process. “Thiiiis much!” He smiled.
You laughed, covering your mouth with both of your hands in an attempt not to wake the guests behind the doors of the hotel’s hallways. “You’re literally so cute.” you said as you reached out for his hands again.
"Where are you going?!" Harry called after you, raising his arms up in wonder. Harry was trying to get you with the water balloon. After hours of hosting 1d day with the boys, it was now his turn for a break however he still happened to be FULL of energy.
"Harry! Stop!" You screamed, running as far away from him as you could. It was quite an unfair advantage seeing as you didn’t have any weapon to get him back with. After distancing yourself far enough away from Harry as you could to avoid being pelted with water, you turned to face him.
Harry smiled hugely at you, water balloon in hand. You knew what he had planned. His legs were much longer than yours and it would be so easy for him to get you with just a few quick strides.
"Don’t." You said cautiously, looking him in the eyes.
With that his mischievous grin grew wider, dimples apparent on both cheeks. He then looked ten years younger.
All of a sudden you saw his body jerk in your direction and he started to run extremely fast over to you. You screamed as a late reaction, before turning around and running as fast as you could away from Harry and his water balloon.
And then you felt it. First a small sting but then a burst of cold water onto your shoulder. You gasped, a little startled by the impact, and stopped dead in your tracks. Harry then caught up to you, wrapping his arms around your waist.
"Harold." You groaned, suddenly annoyed by him and the big spot of cold water running down your back. "I hate you!"
Harry chuckled softly. “I love you,” he pressed his lips to your temple. “I’m sorry baby.”
You didn’t really hate Harry, but you were just sometimes frustrated by him when he was in a really really hyper mood and you weren’t.
"Come with me," he mumbled into your ear as he released his grip around your waist and took your hand in his.
Harry led you to his & the boys dressing room backstage, where he had an extra change of clothes. He dug around in his Duffel bag until he found one of his tattered plain white t-shirts, and handed it to you.
"Thanks. But I’m so going to get you back, you do know this, right?" You said, taking the dry shirt from him and quickly pulling the soaked one you were wearing over your head and flinging it onto the floor. Harry watched as you put his shirt on, but stopped you when he saw a small pink spot starting to form on your shoulder.
"Stop," he gasped, taking the shirt and pulling it back over your head then throwing it onto the nearby couch.
"What is it?" You asked, your eyebrows coming together.
"Oh my God, I did this." Harry said with a look of concern on his face.
"What? What did you do?" You wondered, trying to turn your face to see your shoulder. You moved to the mirror and turned your back to get a good view. You saw a tiny, almost not even noticable pink spot on your shoulder where the balloon had met your skin. You let out a laugh as you turned back to Harry, meeting his deeply concerned face.
"Are you okay?" He asked. "Does it hurt? I can go get you some ointment, or some ice, there’s an ice machine down the hall-"
"Harry, I’m fine!" You laughed, bringing your hands up to his face. He was so much taller than you that you had to almost stand on your tiptoes. "I’m fine, I don’t even feel anything, calm down." you kissed his nose lightly.
"Are you sure?" He looked deep into your eyes.
"Yes babe I’m okay." You smiled, releasing your hands from his face. You bent down to pick up Harry’s fallen shirt and put it on.
"Alright," he said, eyeing you carefully, looking for any sign of pain in your features.
After you had put it on, you walked over to the mirror to fix your tousled hair. Throughout all of your movements, you felt Harry’s eyes still lingering on you.
You looked over to see him leaning against the wall, arms crossed and a small grin upon his face.
"What?" You wondered, slightly embarrassed that all of his attention was fixated on you.
"You look good in my shirt," he stated, walking over to you. He took both of your hands in his, separating them from the hair that your were trying to put up in a bun. It fell around your shoulders in loose waves as he brought you closer to him, closing the distance between you both. "But.. you also look a lot better without it." His deep voice said, before pressing his soft lips to yours.
"Harry." You said after a couple heated minutes, trying your best to pull away. But it was so hard to do considering that you could go on like that kissing him all day if it was up to you. "Harry," you said gently, pulling a few inches apart.
"Hmm" he said in response, opening his eyes to look into yours. His were a dark forest green, sparkling with desire as his hands gripped tighter around your waist.
"You have to go back on air in three minutes." You said, noticing the clock on the wall behind him.
"Really? All ready?" He said abruptly, breaking away from you. "Oh my goodness!" He exclaimed, running around as he looked for his microphone set. You laughed at the sight of your frantic boyfriend.
"Babe," you said.
"Yeah?" He replied, looking around the couch for the earphones.
"Right here," you pointed to his microphone set, lying on the countertop.
"Oh! Right." He took the headset and lifted his shirt, trying to strap it around his chest.
You watched as his long fingers struggled with the strap. “Here, let me help.” You giggled, mostly to yourself. You took the Mic strap and fastened it securely around his chest. “There you go.”
"Thank you thank you thank you," he said, pulling you in for a quick kiss. "I love you." He said quickly. He had one minute to get to stage. "Ill see you in two hours," he said, kissing you again, this time on your forehead.
"Alright," you smiled, handing him a bottle of water. "Go get em tiger." You said lamely.
"I wiiiiiiiiilll!’ He exclaimed, running out of the room and down the hallway, his loud voice echoing and bouncing off the walls.
Boy did you love your sweet Harry. :)
"Ugh." You grunted as you tried to pull your extremely heavy luggage from the baggage claim. You pulled and pulled, trying to get it over the metal railing, but failing miserably in the process because it happened to be caught in between the railings. After one more attempt, you felt a hand on your back and you heard a deep, sultry voice speak from behind you.
"Here, let me help you babe," the voice said. As you turned around to see who this person was, you met the bright green eyes and friendly smile of a stranger. He pulled your big heavy suitcase out of the baggage claim with ease, and set it down next to you. "Is this all you have?" He asked, a crooked grin appearing on his face.
"Uhhh…" you started to say, totally entranced by this beautiful guy. You were too distracted and taken aback by his dimpled smile, bright eyes, messy curls and glowing skin to give a proper response, so you couldn’t help but smileand look down. You had never seen someone so close to perfect. "Um yeah." You said awkwardly, bringing your eyes back up to his. "Thank you," you gave a small smile, tucking a piece of fallen hair behind your ear.
"No worries." He said. "I’m Harry." He stuck out his right hand to shake yours and you politely returned the gesture.
"Y/n." You smiled.
"Where are you headed?" He asked, slinging his own Duffel bag over his shoulder. "Ill help bring it to your car," he suggested, gesturing to your gigantic suitcase.
"Oh no, its fine really." You said, waving your hand. "I’ve got it,"
"Nonsense." Harry said, smiling that warm, friendly smile once again. He took your suitcase by the handle. "Now where to, madam?" He said in his best French accent.
You laughed again and shook your head. “I’m parked in level E.”
"That’s a long way from here." He stated. "But thats fine because it means that we’ll have some extra time to get to know eachother." He winked.
And you couldn’t help but smile at how charming he was…
"Look at the stars, look how they shine for you.. and everything that you do."
Millions of faces in the crowd, but hers was the one face he longed to see the most. He hadn’t had anyone to love in such a long time, and he had began to wonder where he was going wrong.
In the eye of the media, he was Harry Styles, international hearthrob boyband superstar. But as much as he loved the title, he also wanted something more. He wanted someone to really talk to, someone to take him for who he really was. He wanted that one girl to confide in and tell all of his most confidential secrets to. He wanted a best friend, a companion and a lover who would make him feel like the happiest man on earth, something that he would give in return because his heart contained so much love.
That’s not to say that he want happy though- because he was. Very happy actually. But he knew that something was missing; a missing piece to complete the intricate puzzle of his wonderful, beautiful life.
A beautiful girl perhaps. He had looked and then waited, looked some more and waited once again. But his relationships never really seemed to work out. Perplexed, he was mentally ready to throw his hands up in the air. The perplexity that he felt was beginning to break him down. So many friends, acquaintances and pals he had made on this journey, but he was beginning to think that he didn’t really have anyone at all.
But when he saw her, all of his thoughts changed. She was the solution to his problem- that missing puzzle piece. He knew it when he first locked eyes with her; she was the most beautiful girl he had ever seen.
And when he eventually made her his, he constantly felt like he was living on cloud nine. She became the girl of his dreams, the one he could confide in and tell everything to… and boy did he love her more than anything, as did she. She was his princess and he wondered how he previously lived his life without her…
But what was most important was the amazing fact that he reached complete happiness. He really deserved the best, and eventually, his kind little heart got the best.
Two and a half months. It had been two and a half months since she had last seen him. She was now stood outside of the airport, leaning against the hood of her white car. Looking up, she took notice in how several dark clouds were starting to make their way across the sky. She hoped that it wouldn’t rain just yet, since she was anxiously waiting for him to meet her.
After a couple more minutes, she sighed impatiently and checked her phone for the time- he was supposed to arrive seven minutes ago. She suddenly felt a cold raindrop fall from the sky and onto her bare arm. She had forgotten her jacket at home in the rush to go and pick up her boyfriend.
She felt another drop of rain fall, this time onto her hair. She frowned and stood up straight, now pacing back and forth.
Suddenly she heard her name being called from somewhere behind her. She swore it was her imagination but then she heard it once more, much louder and closer this time, and she quickly turned around, recognizing that wonderfully familiar voice.
When she turned around she saw the beauty that had been missing from her life for the past few months. The beauty of the guy who still made her heart skip beats every time she saw his face.
With the biggest grin on his face, he sped up his pace to close the distance that separated them. As did she. She ran to him with arms outstretched, barely able to contain the excitement of this reunion. With a smile that matched his, she finally reached him.
He dropped his suitcases and opened his long arms to embrace the girl he had missed so much. She looked beautiful as ever, and her eyes contained an unmistakable sparkle that shined brighter than diamonds. She finally reached him, and the force of her collision was enough to almost make him fall backwards. But he didn’t, and with his strong arms engulfing her small frame, he buried his face in her hair, which was a bit damp from the rain. “I’ve missed you so much.” He murmured for only her ears to hear. He was so exhausted, but so happy to finally see his favourite girl after all this time.
"I’ve missed you too." She returned. "So much." She wanted to cry, as crazy as it seemed. Maybe it was the overflowing of emotions that had got to her, but she let a single tear escape from her eye and roll down her cheek, falling onto his leather jacket. Pulling away to look him in the eyes, she studied his features and smiled sweetly. Boy, did she miss him like crazy.
He looked at her in admiration for a few moments as he squeezed her tight against his chest. He then leaned down and pressed his soft lips against hers, kissing her gently, living in the simple perfect moment.
The only good thing about being gone for so long was the feeling he got when he saw her again. Nothing compared.
It started to rain more heavily now, and they pulled away from eachother with a knowing smile.
"Lets go home," he suggested, running his hand up and down her back.
"Lets." She replied.
"…Ill race ya," he said with the enthusiasm of a child’s.
"You’re so on," she challenged with a smile.
you were trying to take an innocent selfie but your boyfriend Harry photobombed it by coming up behind you and resting his chin on your shoulder.
"Why do you always do this?" You sighed before snapping the picture. He always had to put himself in your pictures, no matter what it was you were taking a picture of.
"Because I love you." He smiled before kissing you on the cheek and running off.
"Give me a kiss," Harry smirked at you, his chin tilting upward.
"No." You scooted away from him. You were both sitting on the little couch in the doctor’s office, and you were mad that Harry made you come here. You hated doctors; they just always gave you a funny feeling, and Harry knew that.
"Babe, you haven’t been to the doctor’s in so long." Harry said, trying to reassure you. "You have to atleast get a checkup to make sure that everything is alright."
"Whatever," you sighed, fiddling with the various rings on your fingers.
Harry scooted closer to you again, closing the space between you and the end of the couch. “Cmon,” Harry tried again. He started pulling silly faces towards you, knowing that that was what always made you laugh. That and his everlasting lame jokes. “Turn that frown upside down.” He said lamely.
You couldn’t help but let the slow smile spread across your face as you looked at your sweet boyfriend. How could you stay “mad” at him?
"There it is!" He exclaimed, pointing out your growing smile. "I knew you’d come around."
You shook your head, looking incredulously over at your boyfriend.
"Come here, you." You laughed, pulling his face closer to yours. "I love you." You looked deep into his eyes. "I love you for many things, but this is just one of the things I love most about you. You always know exactly how to make me smile." You said before pecking him on the lips.
"Well, I do try." He smirked again, tilting that chin up. "And I love you too, baby. That is why I try."
"Harry! HARRY Harry!" "Over here Harry," the paparazzi exclaimed, trying to get the world-famous boyband member’s photograph.
He tried to catch up with his girlfriend, for she didnt like crowds, and she didnt want to steal his spotlight. She was about to step into the elevator, ready to get up to the safety of the hotel room, however he had fallen a few steps behind.
But he reached out with one arm to regain her small hand. Pulling her close to his side, he wraps one arm firm around her waist, placing his big hand on her right hipbone.
He leaned in close to murmer in her ear. “Just don’t let go of me, okay?” He kissed her swiftly on the cheek before smiling for the flashing cameras.
She was startled, for she still struggled to get accustomed to the fast paced life she shared with her superstar boyfriend. But, she learned to manage, and she gave her best smile as she clutched nervously onto the back of his shirt.
After a few pictures, her boyfriedn told the incessive paparazzi that that was enough pictures for today, and he moved his hand down to his girl’s lower back as he lead her over to the elevator and pressed the button for the doors to close.
He noticed the overwhelmed look on her face, and took her slightly sweaty hands in his before kissing her deeply.
"You’re okay," he said. "Ill always protect you."
Imagine playing tag with Harry in the parking lot. Autumn is in the air and the night time breeze whips against your skin as you run away from him before his longs legs catch up to you. He stops and puts a hand over his chest, taking in a few deep breaths.
You smirk and stick your toungue out at him. You were out of breath just as much as he was but you tried to play it off. “Looooozer!” You laughed.
"I need my inhaler," he said.
"Really?" You asked, making your way back towards him. You knew how bad his asthma could get sometimes.
"No," he grinned, grabbing your arms and pulling you towards him. He picked you up and threw you over his shoulder, running around in circles. "But you’re the loser now!" He yelled obnoxiously.
"Put me down!" You laughed, pounding your fists on his back. "You’re such a cheater!"
"Nope I win, I win!"
"Ugggh." You groaned.
Harry took you to the hood of his range Rover where he carefully set you down.
"Awww baby," he said, tilting up your chin with his index finger. "Don’t be mad," he pouted, mocking your expression.
"I’m not even mad!" You laughed, shoving him away by pushing on his shoulders.
Harry stood in between your legs. “Don’t pretend you can resist me.” He said with a hint of arrogance in his voice.
"Really?" You said, raising your eyebrows. "Watch me." You shoved him away once again.
Harry looked at you with questioning eyes, unable to decipher if you were joking or not.
You reached out and grabbed his hands, pulling him back to you. You placed them on your waist and moved your own hands to his messy mass of brown curls. “I was just kidding.” You whispered into his ear. “You know very damn well how much I can’t resist you.”
You are a runway model, and today was one of the biggest fashion shows of the year. Since its fall, there is a whole new collection of clothes to model, and you were one of their favourites in the industry, so you were going to be walking down the runway more than once.
Being as busy as he always is, Harry never really has time to go to any of your shows, so he was more than happy to take the time off today to come and support you.
With him, he brought his two close friends, Grimmy and Kelly Osbourne.
Normally, Harry would be so bored with these types of things, for he had little to no interest. But today, you were all he came for.
You had butterflies in your stomach as you were rushed to the stage, makeup artists swiftly brushing at your skin with powder brushes on the way there. Normally, you wouldn’t get these butterflies, but this was the biggest crowd yet, because it was the biggest fashion event of the season. However, you calmed yourself when you thought of your boyfriend out there, waiting in the front row. Harry knew you were nervous, and before the show he left you with a tight hug and a lingering kiss as he reassured you that you would do absolutely amazing.
There were now two girls in front of you, and you nervously bit your lip as you took one step closer to the curtain that you would soon walk out of in a few seconds.
You watched as the first girl returned, and the other girl in front of you stepped out onto the stage. You counted to twenty five, and then you too stepped out from behind the curtain.
Walking with your shoulders back, and your chin up with your most serious face, you couldn’t help but look in Harry’s direction, and when you saw him in the corner of your eye, he smiled proudly and gave you two thumbs up. You couldn’t help but smile in return, and somehow the butterflies seemed to disappear.
Meanwhile, as you walked by, Harry nudged his friend Grimmy and with the biggest smile, and pointed at you. “That’s my girl.” He said, not taking his bright eyes off of you the entire time. “Isn’t she beautiful?”
"Yes, yes she’s very pretty Harry." Grimmy sighed, turning to Kelly to roll his eyes. Harry had been talking about you nonstop since before the show even started.
After the show, you found Harry at his seat. He was on his phone, probably occupied by playing some lame word puzzle, looking like the biggest outcast while Grimmy and Kelly chatted with some other models nearby.
"Hey baby!" You ran up to him, throwing your arms around his neck.
Startled, Harry stumbled a step back before constricting his arms tightly around your waist. “Hi.” He said with a smile, leaning back so that he could look you in the eyes. “You did great out there,” he pecked you on the lips.
"Thank you, " you said as you ran your fingers through his hair to get the fallen curls out of his face.
You pressed your lips against his and kissed him sweetly. “I don’t think I could have done it without you here.” You admitted.
"I’m so glad I could come," he kissed your forehead before pulling away. "Lets go celebrate, yeah? Grimmy and Kelly were talking about going out for dinner. How does that sound?"
"Perfect, lets go." You smiled up at him as he took your hand in his.
Interviewer: “So, how is your relationship with (Y/N) going?”
Harry: (smiles) “Its going great actually, thank you for asking. Its kind of hard being away from her most of the time, but we make it work.”
Interviewer : “How DO you deal with the separation? You’re always busy touring and what not, so it must be hard to keep the relationship strong, yeah?”
Harry: “Well, you could say that, but I think- I think what you put into the relationship is what you’ll get out of it. Yeah, being away from her for so long can be really difficult sometimes, but we keep in touch through Skype, we talk on the phone everyday, and I’ll shoot her a text to let her know that i’m thinking of her… but basically, I just think about the next time that I get to see her beautiful face, and when I do see her after so long, it actually makes it that much more worthwhile.”
You were stood at the kitchen sink, washing the dishes when you felt a pair of arms wrap securely around your waist from behind.
"Hi." Harry said lowly into your ear.
"Hi," you chuckled before turning your face slightly to the side to meet his bright eyes as he rested his chin upon your shoulder. Harry shot you a dimpled smile before giving you a tight squeeze.
"You’re taking a long time." He whined into your ear after a few seconds.
"Well I’m sorry." You said. "I’m almost done, just give me another few minutes."
Harry sighed impatiently, observing the process of you washing and rinsing each dish, one after the other. You rolled your eyes at his childlike behavior before focusing your attention back on the dishes.
Harry smiled to himself mischievously as he angled his head and softly pressed his lips to your neck. “Hurry up, now.” He mumbled.
The fork that you had been washing fell from your hand and clanked against the basin of the sink. Harry had caught you off guard; he knew that neck kisses were your weakness, and he chose to use it against you.
"Harry…" you trailed off.
"Mhm?" He said.
"You can’t…. you cannot be doing this to me right now."
But it was no use, he always got what he wanted no matter how hard you tried to deny him.
Harry turned off the water with one hand and grabbed your soapy hand with his other. “I believe that you have much more important things to do right now.” He said, leading you both to his bedroom.
Imagine that Harry was getting himself ready for a long day of interviews for This is Us. He had gotten his clothes on and picked out, but now he was looking for his shoes; his favorite brown boots.
"Babe?" He said, trailing into the room that you and him both share. "Have you seen my boots?"
"Uhmmm." You said, looking up from your phone. "No, I don’t think I have." You lied.
"Are you… are you sure?" He questioned. Harry always knew when you were lying, and it was pretty obvious because you always had trouble containing your smile.
He also knew how much you disliked those raggedy, torn up things.
Harry evaluated you for another second. You opened your mouth to reassure him that you didn’t know where they were, but his glare was absolutely killing you.
You started to laugh. “I knew it!” Harry exclaimed. “Tell me where you hid them.”
You shook your head no. “Harry, you have like 1,000 other pairs of shoes, I’m sure you can find another-”
"Noooo but they’re my favoriiiite." Harry whined like a child.
You sighed, rolling your eyes.
"I’ll sit on you if you don’t tell me where they are." Harry said in his most serious tone.
"Oh no!!" You feigned terror. "You can’t possibly-"
Harry plopped down on top of you on the bed, and you let out a “hmmph” with the pressure of his weight. “HARRY.” You said.
"I told you I would." Harry laughed.
"Get off!" You giggled, shoving him away. "Ok ok fine, I will tell you where your stupid boots are, just get off of me oh my god." You groaned. He was so much bigger than you, you could barely breathe.
"Finally." Harry threw his hands up in the air, as he followed you over to your closet. "Its all I ask for."
"Wait here." You said as you approached your closet, sliding the door open.
After getting his boots, you walked back to Harry with them in hand.
"Thank you-" Harry began to say, but you took off running out of your bedroom, through the hallway and down the stairs with them. "Hey!" Harry chased after you.
You couldn’t stop laughing as you ran all the way out the front door and into the streets with Harry’s favorite pair of boots. You knew you were being so annoying, but you didn’t even care.
"Y/N!" Harry chased after you.
You stopped behind Harry’s car and dangled them out in the open. “Come and get them,” you smirked and blew him a kiss.
Harry shook his head and placed his hands on his knees, slightly bending over. “Alright. So you want to play? We can play.” Harry said before abruptly racing around the car to catch you. Before you even knew what he was doing, he was right behind you. You tried to run away from him but he was so close. You ran into the grass of your front yard, trying to reach the flat/apartment, and you knew that you couldn’t outrun him and his long legs.
You felt a pair of arms catch you from behind. You screamed and laughed as they pulled you closer and slowed you down, tackling you to the ground, and you and Harry both were out of breath ffrom the combination of laughter and all that running around.
"I’m sorry, I’m sorry!" You giggled as he tickled you unmercifully.
"You better be sorry." He laughed, finally getting up from the grass. "Because of you, now I have to go change again!" He referred to the grass stains all over his clothes.
Harry reached out a hand to help you up. “I’m sorry babe.” You wiped off the grass from the back of his shirt. “But hey, If you would just get rid of those boots, this wouldn’t have even happened…”
"Don’t blame my boots!" He pouted.
"Okay, okay." You reached up to kiss his cheek. "I’m sorry, I love you." You leaned your head on his shoulder as you intertwined your fingers with him. You reached down and picked up the shoes with your free hand. "Here’s your beloved boots."
Imagine an eager fan trying to get a picture with Harry, but as she’s about to snap the picture, Harry gets distracted when he sees you out of the corner of his eye. His eyes turn to you, forgetting about the other girl and her picture for a moment. He softly grins at you before snapping back into reality and giving a forced smile to the girl’s camera.
"Good?" He asks as he gives her a loving hug.
"Good." She says contently.
Harry then looks over at you again. He takes a few steps towards you until he reaches you, stopping to grab your hand, like always. He intertwines his long fingers with yours and reaches down to kiss the top of your head.
"Sorry it took so long." He said, referring to the mass of fans that had just spotted him as you guys were on your evening stroll through downtown London.
"Don’t worry about it babe," you smiled as you gave his hand a tight squeeze. "It doesnt really bother me." You leaned your head against his shoulder as you and Harry continued to walk.
"Did I tell you today?" Harry asked.
"Mmmm… I don’t think you have, not today." You smiled up at him.
"Well I love you." He said as he poked you on your tummy.
"I know I know." You laughed; he knew this was your most ticklish spot. "But I love you more." You poked him back.
“Alright, Harry. In all seriousness.” I smiled.
He grinned wider as i sat him down on a stool for the next shot.
“Okay, now I need you to-” I began to say.
Harry got distracted once again; this time by his necklaces, in which had gotten all tangled up. He tried his best to untangle them with his long fingers, but they just kept getting in his way. Frowning in uttermost concentration, he then threw his hands up in the air.
“I give up!” He sighed, beginning to reach behind his neck to take the necklaces off.
“Don’t take them off.” I said gently, walking a few steps forward from behind the camera to reach him. “You love to wear these, they’re your favourite. Let me help you.” I grabbed his necklaces into my smaller hands, and untangled them with ease. “There.” I smiled down at him.
“Alright, do you think you can sit still NOW?” I said in an exhausted tone. We had been at this photoshoot for over an hour and a half, and Harry was not complying. So uncooperative, like a rambunctious child high on sugar.
"Lets try this one last time. I need a serious face, okay? Think seductive yet simple; thoughtful. Got it?"
"Mm-hm." Harry said as he let his fairly permanent smile fade, dimples disappearing in the process. His eyes were on me, searching. Searching for something; deep deep down. His gaze was intense, and I’d actually never experienced this from him before. He was always playful with me, couldn’t be still, had to do the opposite of what I ever asked from him. He was always making lame jokes, laughing at some things that I never understood the reasoning of being found that hilarious.
He was a special guy, Harry was. I knew that there was so much more to him than lame jokes and this ability to never sit still. A side to him that I knew nothing about. But I knew he had soul… a massive heart.
I knew by that look. The first intense look that had the actual potential to stop a heart from beating for half of a second.
"Perfect." I whispered as I snapped the picture. I looked up from my camera again, this time putting the work at hand to the side for a second. I gazed into his eyes a second time, as that familiar smile made its way back onto Harry’s face.
"Whaaaat?" He said, trying to hide the grin. He stood up from his chair and took four steps closer to me, so that we were only inches away from eachother. "Did I do good that time?" He mumbled in his deep voice, smirking down at me.
"Yes," I cleared my throat. "You did… exceptionally good."
"And," he said. "You told me to be seductive. Did it work?" He searched my eyes again, the same way he had done a minute ago.
I looked at the ground for a few seconds, and then back up to meet those sparkling green eyes. “I’d say so.”
